It is the first question in almost every conversation and the one answered least directly on partner websites: what does a Zoho implementation actually cost in the UAE? The honest answer is a range, because the cost is driven by scope, not by the software. But a range you can plan around is far more useful than “it depends”, so here is ours.
Two costs, not one
A Zoho engagement has two separate price tags, and conflating them is the most common budgeting mistake.
- Licenses are paid to Zoho, per user per month, at rates Zoho publishes. They scale with headcount and edition, and a partner does not control them, though a good one will stop you buying editions you do not need.
- Implementation is paid to the partner: discovery, configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, training and go-live support. This is the number the rest of this article is about.
Indicative UAE ranges
These are the working ranges we quote from, in dirhams, for implementation services:
- Zoho Books, a focused accounting implementation with FTA VAT configured: AED 2,000 to 7,500, typically 2 to 8 weeks.
- Zoho CRM, from a straightforward sales pipeline to multi-team automation: AED 2,500 to 18,500, typically 2 to 8 weeks for a single team and longer with complexity.
- Zoho One for a mid-sized organization, a multi-application rollout for roughly 10 to 30 users: AED 30,000 to 90,000, typically 8 to 16 weeks.
- Larger deployments with complex integrations and custom development: from AED 110,000 upwards, typically 16 to 28 weeks or more.
Where an engagement lands inside its range is not random. Five factors move the number more than anything else.
What moves the number
- Scope and users. Each additional application, team and approval chain adds configuration and testing. A CRM for one sales team is a different project from CRM, Books, Inventory and People deployed together.
- Data migration depth. Bringing across opening balances and open transactions is quick. Bringing across ten years of history from Tally, QuickBooks or spreadsheets, reconciled, is real work. Deciding what history you genuinely need is one of the highest-leverage budget conversations.
- Integrations. Payment gateways, bank feeds, WhatsApp Business, e-commerce platforms and legacy systems each add a connection to build and test.
- Customization. Standard modules configured well cover most needs. Custom Creator applications, bespoke workflows and custom documents add development time, sometimes justified, sometimes a sign the process should change instead.
- Training and adoption. A system nobody uses is the most expensive outcome of all. Structured training and a stabilization period after go-live cost less than the rework of a failed rollout.
Keeping an engagement on budget
- Phase the rollout. Start with the applications that carry the core process, prove them, then extend. Zoho’s architecture makes phasing natural, and it converts one large budget decision into several small, informed ones.
- Clean data before migration, not during. Deduplicating customers and closing stale records in the old system is cheaper than paying consultants to do it mid-project.
- Name an internal owner. Decisions that wait a week each cost more than any rate card.
- Insist on a scoped discovery. A fixed proposal after a proper discovery beats an optimistic estimate before one. Our own process is described in what actually happens during a Zoho CRM implementation.
A note on the cheapest quote: implementation pricing in the UAE varies widely, and the lowest bid usually defers cost rather than removing it, into rework, missing compliance setup or an unsupported system. The criteria that separate partners are covered in choosing a Zoho partner in the UAE.
Frequently asked questions
Are Zoho licenses included in these ranges?
No. Licenses are billed by Zoho per user per month at its published rates; the ranges above cover implementation services only. We advise on the right edition and user mix so the license spend matches actual need.
Is there an ongoing monthly cost after go-live?
Optionally, yes. Every implementation includes post-go-live stabilization; beyond that, organizations that want the platform operated, supported and continuously improved engage us on a managed service basis, scoped to their size.
Why do quotes for the same requirement differ so much between partners?
Usually because the quotes are not for the same scope: data migration depth, integrations, training and compliance setup are where estimates quietly diverge. Compare what is included, not the bottom line.
How do we get an exact number?
Through a scoping consultation. We review your processes, data and integrations and return a fixed, itemized proposal against the ranges above.
