AI adoption and IT governance, led by an experienced IT leader

AI is a game changer, but only when experienced people decide where it is used and own what it produces. We give your organization that leadership: a part-time head of IT and AI who studies how your teams actually work, puts AI where it pays back, and measures the return against a baseline.

Strategy · Study · Implement · Measure · Return

The questions leadership is asking

Where would AI actually save us time?
Which tools are our people already using?
What may go into AI, and what must not?
Who checks what the AI produces?
How will we know it paid back?

Why It Stalls

Everyone is using AI. Nobody owns it.

In most organizations, AI arrives one person at a time. Someone drafts proposals in ChatGPT, someone else summarizes contracts, and client information ends up in tools nobody approved. Nothing is measured, nothing is shared, and leadership cannot say whether any of it is worth the money or the risk.

What is missing is not another tool. It is someone accountable for IT and AI: a person who knows how the work is done, sets simple rules, decides what gets adopted, and reports the result to leadership.

How It Works

Five steps, one program

1Strategy
2Study
3Implement
4Measure
5Return

Set direction

A short IT strategy, an IT and AI roadmap, and policies aligned with recognized standards. The documents are thin and sized to your organization, covering acceptable use, AI use and security, not a shelf of enterprise procedures.

Understand the work

We sit with every role, not just IT, and record the tasks, the tools, how often each task happens and how long it takes. That gives an inventory of the work and a baseline to measure against. The plan comes out of this study, so we do not promise tools before we understand the work.

Implement and measure

We put the plan into practice, train your people on the policies, and report results against the baseline. Where AI takes on part of a task, role boundaries may shift, and the study shows where. Experienced people stay responsible for the output.

Setting direction and understanding the work run together in the first weeks. The first three months are the Foundation, and IT leadership is in place from day one.

Measuring the Return

Return is measured on your work, not quoted from a study

We do not promise a percentage. We agree how the return will be measured after the study, and then we measure it on real tasks in your organization.

A typical scorecard

Speed: the same tasks timed before and after
Quality and risk: rated together, out of 5
Value: hours saved times cost per hour, minus the cost of the change
Reviewed every quarter with leadership

Ongoing IT Leadership

Access to expertise, every week

IT leadership is in place from day one of the Foundation, and continues after it for as long as you need it. You choose the title: Head of IT, Fractional CIO, or IT and AI Lead.

Answers when you need them

Questions on tools, suppliers, client requests and AI ideas, answered every week. Decisions and buying choices are made in line with your policies.

A seat at the table

A place in your management meetings, to hear the plans early and bring ideas without being asked. AI and information decisions route through this role, and the policies say so.

People who stay alert

Threats keep changing, and people are the easiest way in. An acceptable use session at launch, a short monthly reminder, and a no-blame refresher for anyone caught out.

Who Leads It

Senior IT governance experience, not a junior consultant

The program is led by a senior IT leader from IT Enablers Global with long experience in IT governance, working with your leadership team. Build work, such as Zoho, Microsoft 365 and AI agents, is carried out by ITEG delivery teams under separate agreements, so advice and delivery stay clearly apart.

We are tool-agnostic. We work with ChatGPT and Claude, and we keep work in your own shared library rather than locked inside any one tool.

Frequently asked questions

How is it priced?

Every engagement starts with a conversation. We then send a proposal sized to your organization: its size, its needs and its current IT ecosystem.

What do we have at the end of the first three months?

An IT strategy and roadmap, a set of short policies your people have been trained on, an inventory of the work across every role with a baseline, a plan built from that study, and the first changes in place and measured.

How will we know it worked?

We agree the measures after the study, then report against the baseline every quarter: time on real tasks before and after, quality and risk, and the value of hours saved minus the cost of the change.

Will you tell us which AI tools to buy?

Not before we understand the work. The tools and ways of working come out of the study, and every recommendation is made against your policies and your budget.

We are not a large enterprise. Is this too heavy for us?

It is designed for organizations like yours. The documents are thin, aligned with what your stakeholders and compliance actually need, and nothing is more elaborate than your size calls for.

Do we have to use ITEG to build anything?

No. If the plan calls for build work, ITEG can deliver it under a separate agreement, and you are free to use other providers. The leadership role protects your interests, including from us.

Ready to get started?

Tell us about your organization and we will recommend the right approach.
