Eazli case study

Building an operational foundation for a Saudi AI-native home ecosystem marketplace

Client Profile

Eazli is a Saudi AI-native, agent-led home ecosystem marketplace connecting home products, home services, and design and build. Its consumer proposition brings AI agents into the home journey, while Zoho supports vendor relationship management and back-office operations. IT Enablers Global (ITEG) supports Eazli's Zoho environment through a monthly managed service.

Overview

Eazli needed a consistent way to identify, qualify, negotiate with, and onboard marketplace vendors as its operations grew. ITEG's managed service covers Zoho CRM and supporting work across Zoho People, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Social, and branded invoice templates in Zoho Books.

Zoho CRM provides a shared vendor acquisition workflow, linking relationship ownership, follow-up activity, commercial discussions, onboarding status, and management reporting.

Key Takeaways

Background

Eazli's marketplace depends on attracting suitable vendors and preparing their products and services for activation. Vendor opportunities originate through inbound channels and team outreach; commercial, compliance, and content readiness must be coordinated before activation.

Eazli engaged ITEG to implement and manage its Zoho applications, and to design a vendor acquisition process around the way its vendor management team works.

Operational Challenges

The vendor management team needed improvements in six areas.

Process Design

ITEG worked with Eazli's vendor management team to document the vendor journey, responsibilities, access permissions, stage rules, follow-up expectations, and onboarding requirements in a Business Requirement Document.

ITEG then configured Zoho CRM around the approved process, and rolled out the other Zoho applications in stages under the managed service.

Solution

ITEG configured Zoho CRM to support vendor acquisition and delivered supporting Zoho application work through the managed service. The principal elements are described below.

  1. Three-stage vendor pipeline: Zoho CRM organizes vendor management into Prospects, Negotiating, and Onboarding, giving the team a shared view of opportunities from initial outreach through commercial discussions and onboarding.
  2. Ownership and follow-up: Contact tasks and reminders help the team coordinate vendor outreach and follow-up.
  3. Onboarding readiness: Shared onboarding records help the team coordinate vendor documentation, commercial readiness, and content preparation.
  4. Loss reasons: Structured reasons for lost opportunities support reporting and analysis of vendor acquisition barriers.
  5. Category and pitch tracking: Vendor records capture relevant product and service categories and responses to Eazli's commercial presentation, helping the team prioritize outreach and identify coverage gaps.
  6. Role-based access: Access permissions support appropriate use of CRM information across the team.
  7. Dashboards and reporting: Reporting supports review of vendor opportunities, stage movement, and category coverage.
  8. Zoho People: Supports employee onboarding, employee records, and leave administration.
  9. Zoho Campaigns and Zoho Social: Support email campaign management and social publishing.
  10. Zoho Books invoice templates: Branded English and Arabic A4 invoice templates align invoice presentation with Eazli's design requirements.
  11. Training and ongoing support: Team training and managed service support cover day-to-day requests, analytics, and reporting.

Implementation

ITEG's managed service began with platform setup and continued through requirements definition, CRM configuration, reporting, training, and supporting application work. Delivery has been phased, with progress reviews and working sessions as required.
